Ephesians: Life Together in Christ | Tychicus – A ‘Living Letter’ (Ephesians 6:21-24)

Ephesians 6:21-24

The Lord sends all of His people, like ‘living letters’ to specific places for specific purposes.

“… the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.” — George Eliot

John 20:21 // 2 Corinthians 3:3 // Ephesians 4:7-8, 11

Regardless of our specific purpose, we should all strive to be like Tychicus:

Colossians 4:7-8

A Beloved Brother – Be a committed and encouraging member of your church family.

1 Peter 4:8-10 // Galatians 6:2

A Faithful Minister – Be an active gospel-preacher and disciple-maker in whatever capacity you’re able.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 // Romans 10:13-15

A Fellow Servant – Be a humble and reliable helper in the various ministries of the church.

Matthew 20:25-26, 25:21
