Daniel: Faithfulness in Babylon | Weird, Scary Stuff is Coming (7:1-28)

Daniel 7:1-28

Biblical Apocalyptic prophecy is more about theological comfort and spiritual preparedness than chronological certainty.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 // Acts 1:6-8

Over and above all of the evil powers at work in human history, we have a sovereign God who is in control and who will bring perfect judgment to pass.

Revelation 11:15-18 // 2 Thessalonians 1:4-10

“To say that God is sovereign is to declare that He is the Almighty, the Possessor of all power in heaven and earth, so that none can defeat His counsels, thwart His purpose, or resist His will.” — A.W. Pink

There will come a day when the world’s satanic rebellion against God will culminate into a crisis point for God’s people; the most powerful rulers of the world will wage war against the church- but then Jesus shows up to save them by decisively ending the war and to set up His eternal Kingdom.

Revelation 17:12-14 // Revelation 19:11-16 // Matthew 24:3-14
